Great solution to the common problem. Floppy table syndrome! We designed a direct replacement table leg extension for your rear cabinet. This allows you to position your rear table from 1” - 20” taller and secure it for travel. No more fighting the table to get into the rear cubby storage. Want to position the table for a stand up desk, raise it to the same height as your stove for a level work surface or simply position it to make for easier use of the rear cabinets. This is the one thing you never realized you needed in your van! Designed, fabricated and made here at VL headquarters. Laser cut, formed and tig welded construction. Powder coated.
*Some factory table legs need to be cleaned and deburred on the bottom for tubing to slide over our extension leg. We also stopped powder coating the pipe portion. It was inconsistent on the thickness causing a few issues with fitment. The lower portion of the bracket is powder coated and we grain the pipe extension now. Its more work, but we are trying to make it as seamless as possible.*
Easy installation takes 10 minutes to do.
Before installing, deburr the bottom of your factory table leg. Remove internal paint and metal burrs that may have been there from the factory. Slide the table extension inside of the factory table leg. It should be snug and have minimal slop. Sometimes the table leg extension may need a little sanding to achieve the desired fit. Powder-coat can get a little heavy sometimes!
10 mm socket and ratchet.
Remove the top factory bracket and slide it over the table leg extension.
Remove the shelf from the cubby compartment.
Remove the lower table leg bracket and discard.
Slide the table leg extension down into the cabinet and bolt into place.
Raise the factory upper bracket to the top of the cabinet and bolt in place.
Slide your table onto the extension and position to your desired height and secure with the factory lock knob.
